Do the offers for boats and jet skis with a licence refer to a driving licence?

No, for watercraft such as boats and jet skis, the indication “approved” refers to a licence for recreational craft (driving licence / boat licence). There are boats and jet skis that can be carried without a driving licence. On unlicensed boats, the seating capacity is usually limited to a maximum of 4 passengers; you also have to stay close to the coast (you cannot go from Mallorca to Ibiza, for example). Jet skis can be driven without a licence within a closed circle so that other boats do not cross your path, or if you are accompanied by a professional guide, as in jet ski tours. Whether a licence is required or not can be found in each offer. With licensed boat rental companies, there is almost always the option of hiring a skipper in addition, so you don’t have to carry a boat licence or pay a deposit.

How is the exact route of the boat trips determined?

On sailboat or catamaran trips, we try to go with the wind as much as possible to enjoy the unique and quiet rocking of the boat in the waves. However, for this you need the power of nature: wind and waves determine in which direction you can sail. Therefore, the final route can only be determined once the boat has left the harbour and the skipper can assess the current weather conditions. But no matter which direction you take, the skipper knows the area well and will guide you to the most beautiful beaches and bays in the region.

When do I have to be at the event entrance / tour meeting point?

For some of our partners (e.g. the quad tour) you need to arrive at least 15 to 30 minutes before the start of the tour, as the briefing will take place and/or the necessary equipment will be distributed. In order to enjoy the booked activity in a relaxed way, we recommend that you leave your accommodation a little earlier in case of traffic jams or parking problems.

When do I have to be at the meeting point/departure point?

Generally at least 5 to 15 minutes before the pickup up time, but please check the details we send you in the email with the booking confirmation. Remember that the boats and buses cannot wait for individual passengers, as this would be unfair to all other passengers and would also delay the activity. If you do not show up on time, you will lose any right to a refund or replacement.

Is there parking near the meeting point?

That depends on the meeting point, which we will tell you in the email with the booking confirmation. If you are in doubt, you can take a look at the Google Maps link we have provided in the email. In satellite image mode you can see if there is parking near the meeting point. Please allow enough time to get to the meeting point as it is difficult to find a parking space, especially near the port, especially in high season.

In Spain, streets are colour-coded: you are not allowed to park on the streets marked in yellow, and on the streets marked in blue you have to buy a parking ticket, which is available at the parking machines nearby.

How long does the activity/excursion I have booked last?

In each offer you will find information about the approximate duration of the activity so that you can organise yourself.

What do I need to bring?

In each offer you will find notes if you need to bring something special. Otherwise, you just need to be generally prepared for the booked activity. For example, a swimming costume, towel and sunscreen for a boat trip; for a boat trip in winter we recommend a jacket and long trousers. For quad biking and jeep safari activities, always carry your original driver’s licence. Remember to bring drinks and snacks if they are not included in the price.

What happens in case of bad weather?

If weather conditions prevent the activity/excursion from taking place, you will get an email about the cancellation and your refund options. Please see the event details for more information’s.

From what age must children’s tickets be purchased?

Which tickets are valid for the different age groups can usually be found when selecting tickets or in the detailed information about the offer. If you are bringing babies and/or toddlers who do not yet have to pay for a ticket, please let us know in the “Order notes” section at the end of the booking process so that we can reserve the seats for you free of charge.
